This is an 18 year old single cask Glencadam from the Against the Grain series, an independent bottling for the wine merchant Oddbins. It was bottled at 46%. The spirit was distilled on 20th June 1987 and bottled on 16th November 2005. It matured entirely in a refill bourbon cask, number 1539, which gave 232 bottles. This is bottle number 1 of that outturn. Glencadam stands in Brechin, in the Eastern Highlands of Scotland, and its stills are fitted with upward-angled lyne arms that encourage reflux.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
