This is a 9 year old Glencadam, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2020 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 82.28, named Memories of Days Gone By. It was drawn from a single second fill ex-bourbon barrel, giving 221 bottles at 62.5% ABV.
The nose brings lychees, mandarins, strawberries and pineapple chunks, with fresh oak, vanilla biscuits and candy floss. On the palate it is sweet and tropical, with a fiery ginger heat, followed by Scotch pancakes with mixed berries and custard.
