This is a 9 year old Highland single malt from Glencadam, bottled by the SMWS from a single second-fill ex-Bourbon cask, number 82.28. It is bottled at 58.4% in a 70cl bottle, and only 172 bottles were produced. The nose is buttery, light and summery, with lemon puff biscuits, croissants, honey, meringue, strawberry and vanilla, plus herbal, medicinal hints. The palate is full of honey, camomile, mint and crisp white wine, with woody spice and mint heat at full strength. Reduced, it turns easy-drinking, with barley sweetness, dried raspberries and light liquorice on the finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
