A Glencadam single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, at 46% ABV. It is made in small batches by the Master Distiller, who selected malt matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks from the distillery's dunnage warehouses.
The whisky from these casks was married, then finished in hand-selected Merlot wine barrels from Bordeaux, France.
The nose is sweet, with wild strawberries, fruit candies, cedar, bramble jam and ginger biscuits. Stewed fruits and rhubarb crumble lead the palate, alongside cacao, roast chestnut and oak spice. The finish brings dark chocolate cherry liqueurs and espresso, with a gentle cake spice.
