Glendalough Peated Pot Still is an Irish whiskey that brings the single pot still tradition together with peat.
It is made from a mix of malted and unmalted barley, and the malt is dried with peat.
The nose offers fresh fruit, apple and pear with light smoke, spice, vanilla and a herbal note. On the palate the attack is soft and the smoke builds gradually, alongside cereal, fruit and spice in a round texture. The finish is long, spicy and delicately smoky, fresh and slightly woody.
