GlenDronach 18 Year Old Allardice is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, named as a tribute to the distillery's founder. It is bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
It was matured in Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucia in Spain. The colour is bright deep gold with a tawny centre.
The nose is sweet fudge and muscovado sugar, with fruit compote and Morello cherries. The palate brings stewed fruits, allspice, aged Oloroso, toasted walnut bread and chocolate orange. The long finish carries dark treacle, allspice and walnut.
