Glendronach 18 Years Sherry Cask Matured is an 18-year-old Highland single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It takes the place of the Glendronach Allardice.
The whisky was matured in Oloroso casks from Andalucia in Spain, and the sherry influence is clear throughout.
The nose offers morello cherries, dried fruit, fudge, chocolate, muscovado sugar, leather and raisins. The palate is creamy and oily, with milk chocolate, stewed fruit, walnuts, allspice and cinnamon. The finish is long, with nuts, oak, spice and cocoa.
