GlenDronach – 27 Year Old 1992 Single Cask 7411 (53.2%)

This is a single cask GlenDronach, distilled on 13 November 1992 and matured for 27 years in an Oloroso sherry puncheon. It was bottled in 2020 as part of Batch 18 of the distillery's single cask releases, filling 658 bottles at a cask strength of 53.2%. It is non-chill filtered and in natural colour, a dark treacle shade. The nose has sherry-soaked raisins, toffee and sultana pudding, with bramble preserve, old leather and cedar cigar boxes. The palate brings steamed plums, apricot purée and sultana cake, with orange caramel, treacle and clove. The finish is long and warming, with hints of oak and cocoa.
