Glendronach Ode to the Dark - PX Sherry Casks (70cl, 50.8%)

Glendronach Ode to the Dark is a Highland single malt matured entirely in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled at 50.8% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and belongs to the Master's Anthology series from the distillery, founded in 1826 near Huntly. The nose brings mocha, black cherry and dark chocolate, with crème brûlée and raisins, brown sugar and ginger alongside. On the palate come soft espresso and crème caramel, black grape and mint chocolate ganache. The finish is long and well integrated, balancing sweet and spicy notes.
