GlenDronach Ode to the Embers is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 48.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a selection of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, and pairs the distillery's sherried richness with a light smoky edge.
The nose brings charred oak, spiced fruitcake and roasted nuts with a wisp of smoke. On the palate come dried fruits, dark chocolate, treacle and warming spice over a gentle, ember-like smokiness. The finish is long, with sherried sweetness, oak and smouldering spice.
