Glendronach Ode to the Valley is a single malt from The Masters Anthology series, bottled at 46.2% ABV. The name refers to the valley in which the Glendronach Distillery stands. It was matured in ruby port casks and ex-sherry casks.
The nose is fine, with red and black currants, raspberries, chocolate, dulce de leche, orange and apricot. The palate mixes sweet and spicier notes: blackberries, young red fruit, chocolate, ginger, black pepper, wood and plums. The finish is shorter, with hints of tannin and pepper.
