Ode To The Valley is a limited-edition Highland single malt from GlenDronach, part of the distillery's Master's Anthology Series. It is bottled at 46.2% ABV, non-chill-filtered, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky combines ruby port casks from Portugal's Douro Valley with the distillery's sherry casks.
On the nose it is described as late summer berries, dulce de leche and apricot glaze, with sweet demerara sugar. The palate offers blackberry and roasted apple crumble with gingerbread and damson plum. The finish is sweet and spiced, with black cherry cake, liquorice and a soft touch of acacia honey.
