GlenDronach – Traditionally Peated (70cl, 48%)

This is a peated single malt from GlenDronach, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. The peat is added in the traditional way, as it was done two centuries ago. The whisky then matures in a combination of Pedro Ximenez sherry, Oloroso sherry and port casks, giving a robust malt with a strong peat character. The nose is full of toffee and deep honey notes alongside charred, smoky malt. The palate shows burnt orange, and the finish brings smoked barley with juicy berries.
