GlenDronach Traditionally Peated is a Highland single malt bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered. It revives the distillery's 19th-century tradition of drying malt with peat.
It was matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry, Oloroso sherry and Port casks.
Treacle, honey, orange zest and smouldering oak lead the nose. The palate offers maple syrup, clove-studded citrus and stewed fruit over gentle earthy smoke, and the long, warming finish carries smoky barley and dark fruit.
