This is a single cask Glenfarclas distilled in 1953 and bottled in 2012 after 58 years in a cask that previously held sherry. Drawn from cask 1674, it was bottled at cask strength, 47.2% ABV, and is unfiltered and of natural colour.
The cask was chosen by Serge Valentin, and its contents filled 400 numbered 70cl bottles. The 1953 vintage was the oldest available at the distillery when it was selected.
