This is a 1959 Glenfarclas from the Family Cask range, a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 55.2% ABV. Glenfarclas was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay and bought by John Grant in 1865. It remains in the hands of the Grant family, who regularly release single casks and special bottlings alongside the standard range.
Oloroso sherry casks are the main casks used at the distillery.
