This is a Glenfarclas single malt from the 2009 vintage, part of the Family Cask series and released in autumn 2025. It is an original distillery bottling, in a 70cl bottle at 60.3% ABV.
Glenfarclas is a Speyside distillery, founded in 1836 by Robert Hay and bought by John Grant in 1865. It remains in the hands of the Grant family. The name is usually translated as valley of the green grassland, and Oloroso sherry casks are the ones mainly used there.
