A Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, distilled in 1989 and released in summer 2022 in the Family Cask series. It is bottled at 52.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Robert Hay founded Glenfarclas in 1836, and John Grant bought the distillery in 1865. It is still run by the Grant family, who have kept up a steady programme of single casks and special bottlings next to the core range. Most of the casks in use are Oloroso sherry, which the distillery credits for the character of its whisky.
