A 1993 single malt from Glenfarclas, released in summer 2022 as part of the Family Cask series. It is bottled at 53.8% in a 70cl bottle.
Robert Hay founded Glenfarclas in 1836, and John Grant bought it in 1865. Ownership has stayed with the Grant family, who regularly release outstanding single casks and special bottlings beside the standard bottlings. Oloroso sherry casks are the principal wood in use there, and they give the whisky its distinctive aromas.
