A single malt from the Glenfarclas distillery in Speyside, distilled in 1994 and released in summer 2022 as part of the Family Cask series. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 45.4% ABV.
The name Glenfarclas is usually translated as valley of the green grassland. Robert Hay founded the distillery in 1836 and John Grant bought it in 1865, and it has stayed with the Grant family ever since. Alongside its regular bottlings the family issues outstanding single casks and special editions, and the distillery's whisky is mainly matured in Oloroso sherry casks.
