This is a single cask Glenfarclas from the Family Casks series, distilled in 1996 and bottled on 2 December 2014 as part of the spring release. It was matured in a single ex-sherry butt, cask 1493, which gave 486 bottles.
Each bottle is at the natural cask strength of 55.6%, with natural colour and no chill-filtration. Glenfarclas, in Speyside, has been owned by the Grant family since 1865.
