A 20 year old Glenfarclas from the Family Cask range, this single cask bottling from 1997 is called The Sparrow and comes at a cask strength of 50.3%.
It was drawn from a refill hogshead, which Glenfarclas calls third fill, and around 280 bottles were filled from it.
It is described as well balanced between fruit and spice, with a small hint of honey, mango and green fruit, followed by a long, deep finish.
