A single malt from Glenfarclas in Speyside, taken from the Family Cask range and marked 2005, in the Summer 2023 release. It is bottled at 59.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Glenfarclas was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay. John Grant bought it in 1865, and the Grant family still runs it. Its name means 'valley of the green grassland'.
The distillery mostly fills Oloroso sherry casks, which lend its whisky aromas that malt enthusiasts value around the world.
