A 2007 single malt from Glenfarclas, part of the Family Cask series and released in summer 2024. It is bottled at 59.9% in a 70cl bottle.
The name Glenfarclas is usually translated as valley of the green grassland. Robert Hay founded the distillery in 1836, and John Grant bought it in 1865. The Grant family still owns it today. Most of its maturation takes place in Oloroso sherry casks, which shape the aromas that Glenfarclas whisky is valued for.
