Glenfarclas 21 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the family-owned Glenfarclas distillery, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It spent more than two decades maturing entirely in Oloroso sherry casks, which give it a dark amber colour.
The notes run to tropical fruit, candied orange peel, fruitcake and nutmeg, with sweet honey, dark chocolate and toasted oak behind them. The finish is long, smooth and lingering.
