This is Glenfarclas 25 Year Old, a single malt from Speyside in Scotland, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. The name Glenfarclas is usually translated as 'valley of the green grassland'. The distillery was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay, bought by John Grant in 1865, and is still owned by the Grant family.
Oloroso sherry casks are the main casks used at Glenfarclas, and they give its whisky its distinctive aromas.
