Glenfarclas – 28 Year Old 1992 Family Casks Release S20

This is a single cask Glenfarclas from Speyside, distilled in 1992 and bottled in May 2020 after 28 years in a sherry butt. It is the Summer 2020 release in the Family Casks series, bottled by the distillery at natural cask strength. The outturn was 601 bottles. The long maturation in sherry wood is described as bringing out dried fruit, spice and polished oak, in the deep, fruity house style of Glenfarclas.
