Glenfarclas – 30 Year Old (Old Version)

A 30 year old Glenfarclas single malt, in the older version of this bottling. It won a trophy at the International Spirits Challenge in 2006. Glenfarclas means valley of the green grass in Gaelic. The water for distillation comes from a small spring on Ben Rinnes, where it runs from the granite beneath the heather-covered hill. The distillery has been owned by the Grant family since 1865 and is one of the few Scottish distilleries still in family hands.
