Glenfarclas 31 Years Old 1990 Single Cask #7100 is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46.9%. It was distilled on 29 June 1990 and bottled on 16 September 2021 after 31 years in a sherry cask. The release comes to 219 bottles.
The nose combines espresso, mocha, aged balsamic vinegar, jute and tobacco with raspberry jam, strawberries, bitter chocolate, peaches and pineapple in syrup. On the palate are black pepper, chocolate and mint, linseed oil and cherry liqueur, then plums, dates and figs, with ginger and clove. The finish is long, with stone fruit, apple, mint and breakfast tea.
