This is the 2026 Christmas Malt from Glenfarclas, a Speyside single malt distilled in December 2015 and bottled in 2026 at 49.7%. The outturn is 900 bottles.
It is made from whisky matured in sherry casks of differing fill history, from first fill to fourth fill.
The nose offers raisins, candied orange peel and dark marzipan, with nutmeg and light oak. On the palate come dates, walnuts and sweet spices such as ginger and cinnamon, with fruity sherry sweetness alongside a warm, gentle dryness from the oak. The finish is long, with dried fruit and spice.
