Glenglassaugh 12 Years is a Highland single malt bottled at 45%. It was matured in bourbon, sherry and red wine casks, and it is the first Glenglassaugh with an age statement since the distillery reopened in 2008.
The nose is apricot and fig with toasted vanilla and a coastal note. On the palate come candied pistachios, dates and sweet figs, alongside Morello sherry and whipped cream, with a fresh sea breeze running through. The finish is long, soft and gentle.
