Glenglassaugh – 1963-2014 51 Year Old Single Cask 3301 (70cl, 44.3%)

This is a single cask Highland single malt from Glenglassaugh, distilled in 1963 and bottled in May 2014 at 51 years old, in a 70cl bottle at 44.3%. It came from cask 3301, an ex-bourbon cask filled on 15th February 1963. It was the oldest cask left in the distillery's inventory at the time of bottling. To mark the occasion, Glenglassaugh commissioned a Glasgow-based carpenter to make handcrafted wooden boxes for the bottles.
