A 2015 Glenglassaugh single malt, eight years old, bottled by Dràm Mòr as part of its Summer Release 2024. It matured in bourbon casks and was finished in a first fill Cognac cask. The outturn was 237 bottles.
The nose shows vanilla and tingling mixed peppercorns from the bourbon casks, wrapped around juicy raisins from the Cognac cask. On the palate the short Cognac finish leaves the distillery spirit in front, adding raisins and yellow sultanas. The finish is lively and playful, repeating those notes.
