This Glenglassaugh was distilled on 30 April 2018 and bottled in spring 2023 at four years old. It is number 6 in Claxton's Exploration Series and was matured in a Sauternes barrique. The nose is gently sweet, with vanilla pudding, trifle, barley sugar and a touch of grape sweetness. On the palate it is soft and sweet, with more grape notes alongside oak spice. The finish returns to vanilla pudding, with a mix of oak and barley.
