Evolution is a Highland single malt from Glenglassaugh, matured entirely in ex-Tennessee whiskey casks. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The casks give it a creamy style with plenty of vanilla and soft spice, and the American oak adds a subtle sweetness.
The nose is vanilla cream, light citrus and soft wood notes. The palate is creamy and open, with vanilla, white pepper and hints of tropical fruit. The finish is medium-long, slightly spicy and very clean.
