Glenglassaugh – Peated Virgin Oak Wood Finish (70cl, 46%)

A peated Glenglassaugh single malt, finished in virgin oak and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery's master blender selected a small number of virgin oak casks for the second period of maturation. During this time the whisky interacts with the wood, and both its colour and its character deepen. The virgin oak adds notes of brittle caramel to sweet peat smoke, layered over the lively, tropical character of Glenglassaugh.
