Glenglassaugh Peated Virgin Oak Wood Finish is a peated single malt that spends two years finishing in American virgin oak casks after its initial maturation. The new oak adds fresh wood character to the distillery's fruity, maritime spirit, alongside gentle peat. It is bottled at 46% ABV, with natural colour and without chill filtration. The nose brings toasted oak, boiled sweets and creamy toffee, with hints of new leather and sweet earthiness. On the palate, subtle coastal smoke meets fresh spice and a confectionery sweetness reminiscent of a seaside sweet shop.
