Glenglassaugh – Revival (70cl, 46%)

Glenglassaugh Revival is a Highland single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of whiskies from several of the distillery's casks, including red wine and bourbon, and all of it spends at least six months in sherry casks. The vatting works on a solera-style principle. Each batch is drawn from a final vat, which is then topped up with whisky from further sherry casks. Revival was released in 2012, after the Scandinavian Scaent Group had bought the distillery in 2008 and restored it.
