Glenglassaugh – Sandend

Glenglassaugh Sandend is a single malt named after Sandend Bay, the coastal setting of the Glenglassaugh distillery. It was created by Master Blender Rachel Barrie and leans towards rich tropical fruit sweetness. The whisky is aged in bourbon, sherry and manzanilla barrels, with each cask hand-picked. The nose is soft buttery vanilla ice cream with tropical fruit, chocolate and a touch of sea salt. The palate brings salted caramel with a lively burst of pineapple, cherry and grapefruit, with a coastal edge.
