Glenglassaugh Sandend is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 50.5% ABV. The label calls it a coastal malt and names Rachel Barrie as master blender.
The colour is summer gold. The nose is soft, buttery vanilla ice cream coated in tropical fruit, with chocolate and a touch of sea salt.
On the palate come waves of salted caramel and a fizzy burst of pineapple, cherry and grapefruit, lifted by a seaside note.
