Sandend is a Glenglassaugh malt bottled at 50.5%. It takes its name from the crescent-shaped beach of Sandend Bay, which inspired it, and comes from a distillery that woke again in 2008 after decades of dormancy.
It is matured in bourbon, sherry and Manzanilla casks. It is described as bringing rich waves of tropical sweetness with a touch of sea salt.
