Glenglassaugh – Sandend Highland Single Malt (70cl, 50.5%)

Glenglassaugh Sandend is a Highland single malt, bottled at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled with mineral-rich spring water, and sea air drifts through the warehouses where it matures. The whisky is matured in bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks, which over time bring tropical sweetness and a crack of sea salt. The nose is soft buttery vanilla ice-cream with tropical fruit, chocolate and a touch of sea salt. On the palate come waves of salted caramel and a burst of pineapple, cherry and grapefruit.
