Glenglassaugh Sandend is a Scotch single malt named after the crescent beach of Sandend Bay. It is bottled at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle, and was matured in bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks.
It is a summer gold colour. The nose is soft buttery vanilla ice-cream with tropical fruit, chocolate and a touch of sea salt. On the palate come salted caramel, pineapple, cherry and grapefruit, with a seashore freshness.
