Torfa is a peated Highland single malt from Glenglassaugh, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The name is Norse for peat. The distillery reopened in 2008 after two decades of silence.
The nose combines campfire, sea air and citrus spice. The palate is robust, with smoke and candied peel, plus hints of honey and tobacco smoke. The finish is peaty, with spiced fruit.
