Torfa is a peated single malt from Glenglassaugh, made with richly peated malted barley. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
The peat gives it a phenolic character that sits apart from the usual style of Highland whisky.
On the nose it is sweet and smoky, with sooty campfire smoke and sea air alongside lime zest, apricot jam and ripe soft fruits, warmed by stem ginger and cracked black pepper.
