Glenglassaugh – Torfa Richly Peated (50%)

Glenglassaugh Torfa is a richly peated Highland single malt, matured in American oak bourbon casks. It was the first peated bottling released by Glenglassaugh since the distillery reopened after more than twenty years of silence. It is bottled at 50% ABV without chill-filtering or added caramel colour. The nose shows smoke, soot and sea air with apricot jam, ginger and freshly ground black pepper. The palate brings smoke, peat and exotic fruit such as melon and pineapple. The finish is long and spicy.
