This is a ten-year-old single malt from Glengoyne, a distillery at the foot of Dumgoyne Hill in the Southern Highlands of Scotland.
Glengoyne dries its malted barley in air, without peat smoke, and the whisky is golden amber in colour.
The nose offers green apples, toffee and vanilla, with subtle floral and nutty notes. The palate is smooth and creamy, with honey, dried fruits and a touch of oak spice, balanced by a soft malty sweetness. The finish is long, with lingering fruit and spice.
