Chapter Two is the second bottling in Glengoyne's Legacy Series, which honours people linked to the distillery's past. This edition is dedicated to Peter Russell, chairman of Ian Macleod Distillers, who bought Glengoyne 134 years after Cochrane Cartwright's time as manager.
The spirit was matured in a combination of first-fill ex-Bourbon American oak casks and refill sherry casks, and it is bottled at 48% ABV.
Notes include vanilla, peaches, chopped mint, lime rind, dried fruit, chocolate, apples, cinnamon, oats, cracked black pepper, honey on toast, banana, coconut and sherried oak.
