Glengoyne – 12 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

Glengoyne 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The barley is dried with air rather than peat smoke, which leaves the spirit's natural sweetness to come through. The whisky is matured in first-fill European and American oak sherry casks, balanced with refill casks. The distillery, founded in 1833, is known for its extended, slow still runs. The nose is fresh green apple, toffee and a hint of coconut. On the palate come creamy vanilla, ripe banana, malt biscuits and gentle sherry spice, followed by a medium finish of malt and light oak.
