This is a 12 year old Glengoyne, a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle. The distillery dries its barley with warm air rather than peat smoke, and it is also described as the slowest distilled whisky in Scotland.
The 12 year old is balanced, with sherry notes running through it. The aroma is dry and fruity, with early autumn apples and pears, lifted gently by sweet vanilla, mint and toffee.
